DDP consultants have worked on multiple global health and development projects for various clients in over thirty countries across Sub-Saharan Africa, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and North America.

We collaborate with a wide range of partners, including philanthropy organizations, international development agencies, non-profits, corporations, and government to offer advice and solutions. Whether the starting point of the project is the design of a program, the development of a strategy, an organisational transformation, or a new strategic advocacy model, we always take a systemic approach that is specifically tailored to each client’s requests, requirements, and organisational and cultural context.

BMGF Development Policy and Finance Advocacy and Communications Strategy Support

DDP is providing thought partnership to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation's (BMGF) Development Policy and Finance (DPAF) sub‑team of the Program Advocacy and Communications (PAC) team to develop and execute an advocacy and communications strategy, including emerging international finance reform efforts focused on Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs) debt relief, Multilateral Development Banks (MDB), and the use of Special Drawing Rights (SDRs) for Climate Financing. This project is being executed as a sub‑contract of Global Health Visions.

Project Management Support for the BMGF Development Policy and Finance (DPAF) Sub‑team

We are providing project management assistance to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation's (BMGF) Development Policy and Finance (DPAF) sub‑ team of the Program Advocacy and Communications (PAC) team on issue‑specific communications support, events planning and execution, and the development of briefing materials and reports to address requests of internal and external stakeholders. This project is being executed as a sub‑ contract of Global Health Visions.

BMGF Engagement Strategy for the World Bank Global Financing Facility

DDP facilitated the development of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation’s (BMGF’s) strategy to engage and fund the World Bank Global Financing Facility (GFF) to strengthen reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health and nutrition (RMNCAH‑N) globally through a collaborative process involving stakeholders from the Foundation’s global health agencies and funds (GHAF), program support, gender equality, and program advocacy and communications teams. This project was executed as a sub‑contract of Global Health Visions.

Global Financing Mechanisms Engagement Management Project

We are assisted the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) to develop a suite of business support tools to support its Global Health Agencies and Funds (GHAF) team manage its engagements with key global financing mechanisms such as the World Bank Global Financing Facility and Anchor Trust Fund (ATF), Islamic Development Bank's Lives and Livelihoods Funds (ISDB LLF), the Global Fund, and World Bank Pandemic Fund. This project was executed as a sub‑contract of Global Health Visions.

Diagnostic of the World Bank Global Financing Facility (GFF) Operational Model

DDP supported the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation's (BMGF) Global Health Agencies and Funds (GHAF) in conducting a rapid diagnostic of the World Bank GFF's operational model in order to determine its effectiveness and identify gaps that the Foundation can help the financing mechanism address in order to maximize its impact. This project was executed as a sub‑contract of Global Health Visions.

Gavi Alliance 2021-2025 supply chain strategy design

DDP facilitated the development of the Gavi Alliance 2021-2025 supply chain strategy through a collaborative process involving country representatives, Gavi Alliance partners, and broader public health supply chain partners, using a human-centred design approach.

In-country vaccine supply chain strengthening for UNICEF

We collaborated with UNICEF to facilitate the design, conceptualization, and implementation of the Gavi Alliance's Comprehensive Vaccine Management (CVM) initiative, designed to operationalize the Gavi Alliance's immunisation supply chain (iSC) strategy from 2021 to 2025.

Gavi priority countries system diagnostic and resource mobilization support

DDP led the conduct of immunization supply chain situational analyses for 15 Gavi priority countries, matched the identified strengthening opportunities in those countries with existing and planned Gavi investments, and provided oversight to country focal teams to ensure implementation of the identified funded priorities.

Fostering collective impact for Gavi Alliance supply chain partners

We led the development of the collective impact framework for the Gavi Alliance Global Immunization Supply Chain Collaboration (iSC2) comprising of Gavi, USAID, JSI, WHO, UNICEF, BMGF, CHAI, PATH and VillageReach that fostered collaboration among the 9 iSC2 organizations to address global vaccine supply chain issues of high priority. DDP also supported the Gavi Alliance partners to develop grant proposals that yielded $6.5 million in Gavi grants to implement catalytic immunization supply chain strengthening initiatives in the 68 Gavi-supported countries, contributing to improvement of the vaccine supply chain performance from 66% to 70% in 4 years.
