Kiaka Kaegon is a management consultant and medical doctor with 6 years of experience in the health and development sectors. She specializes in driving impactful health initiatives through advocacy and communications, stakeholder engagement and coordination, policy and strategy development, and project management at global, national, and sub-national levels.
Kiaka has led and contributed to multiple health system strengthening initiatives across Nigeria and Guinea, focusing on routine immunization, oxygen systems strengthening, climate change and health, and COVID-19 case management. Her experience also extends to addressing other communicable and non-communicable diseases.
She has played pivotal roles in the design and execution of national and sub-national health programs, working closely with governments, donors, and implementing partners to ensure alignment with public health priorities and delivery of sustainable outcomes. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Kiaka was instrumental in providing technical support for case management efforts, strengthening healthcare systems, and fostering cross-sectoral collaboration to mitigate the impact of the pandemic. She has also supported initiatives aimed at integrating climate resilience into health systems and improving access to life-saving interventions such as oxygen therapy.

Kiaka has a Doctor of Medicine degree in General Medicine and Surgery from Kharkov National Medical University, Ukraine, and a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
