Adeyinka Onikan

Adeyinka has more than 12 years of experience working in development programmes in North America and Africa in the areas of public health, mental health, and climate change working with several prestigious funders, including the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Global Fund, USAID, the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), the Wellcome Trust, and Grand Challenges Canada, among others.
He has a great deal of experience in business development, donor compliance, operational excellence, project management, and stakeholder management.
Adeyinka earned his bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery from Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria. He subsequently continued on to the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom to complete his Masters degree in Management and Leadership in Public Health. He also holds a Project Management Professional certification (PMP).
