Olamide Akintibubo is a seasoned management consultant and global health professional with over 8 years of experience driving impactful public health initiatives across sub-Saharan Africa. His work spans a diverse range of technical and programmatic areas, including routine immunization strengthening, maternal mortality reduction, HIV/AIDS care expansion, and health worker capacity development.
Olamide has provided project management and capacity development support to a wide array of clients, including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), USAID, Gavi, the Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics (FIND), and Merck for Mothers. His expertise lies in designing and executing complex health programs, ensuring alignment with client objectives, and delivering sustainable outcomes in collaboration with governments, donors, and implementing partners.
Throughout his career, Olamide has contributed to transformative public health initiatives aimed at addressing critical health challenges in Nigeria, Ghana, Niger and Chad. He has been instrumental in strengthening routine immunization systems, improving maternal health outcomes, and expanding access to HIV/AIDS care and treatment services. His ability to manage multi-stakeholder engagements and build the capacity of health systems and personnel has consistently resulted in measurable improvements in health outcomes.
Olamide combines his strong technical acumen with a strategic approach to problem-solving, leveraging his expertise in global health delivery and business management. He holds a Master of Medical Sciences (MMS) in Global Health Delivery from Harvard Medical School, an MBA from Nexford University, and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria.
